XGP: The Hilbilly Moonshiners play Mumford & Sons | Xinix Nieuwendijk
De energieke Britse folkband Mumford and Sons scoorde wereldhits met singles als ‘I Will Wait’, ‘Lover of the Light’ en natuurlijk ‘Little Lion Man’. De Nederlandse bluegrassband Hillbilly Moonshiners komt met hun tribute dichtbij de zo geroemde sound van de band. Tijdens deze show komen de bekendste songs van de albums ‘Sigh No More’, ‘Babel’ en ‘Wilder Minds’ voorbij, afgewisseld met cover materiaal dat Mumford and Sons zelf ook live ten gehore brengt!
De afgelopen twee jaar groeide de band uit het zuiden van Nederland in rap tempo uit tot een band voor de grote festivals en popclubs. Met name hun Tribute to Mumford & Sons bracht hen ver tot over de Nederlandse landsgrenzen met als hoogtepunt een concert tijden het vermaarde ‘Sziget’ in Budapest in augustus 2017, een van de grootste vooruitstrevende popfestival van Europa. En in september staan ze bij ons op het podium!
